In keeping with the true tradition of St George, all of the ovens have the largest capacity of all standard ovens on offer in the marketplace. This tradition of a large capacity oven is still serving the cooks of today.

History |
Stan Shuetrium founded St George Appliances in his backyard in Bexley, Sydney in 1947.
A welder by trade, Stan hit upon the idea of manufacturing and selling ovens to create employment opportunities for members of his family. Together with his brother Bob, they applied their trade selling ovens from the back of their truck in the streets of the Sutherland Shire of Sydney.
Over the years the factory grew from strength to strength, pumping out hundreds of ovens per day, with a national distribution of retailers. |

Most ovens, and gas and electric cooktops are made in Chester Hill.
